Candidates must be regularly appointed Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSA) or Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in the participating services/cadres and have rendered at least five years of regular service on the crucial date. Eligibility is subject to being recommended by the Head of Department/Office.
Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix plus applicable central allowances.

SSC Senior Secretariat Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (SSA/UDC) LDCE 2025 – Online Form Fill Instruction

  • 1. Log in to the new SSC official website and complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done on the ssc.gov.in portal.
  • 2. Navigate to the 'Departmental Exam' section and select the 'SSA/UDC Grade LDCE 2025' application link.
  • 3. Fill in your personal details, service particulars, and current designation details accurately as per official records.
  • 4. Upload a recent high-quality photograph and signature specimen meeting the specified dimensions and file size.
  • 5. Submit the online application form and take a clear printout of the successfully submitted page.
  • 6. Attach the printed application form with self-attested copies of your APARs, educational certificates, and service transcripts.
  • 7. Obtain the necessary recommendation and signature from your current Head of Department (HoD) or Head of Office (HoO).
  • 8. Forward the complete application packet through the proper departmental channel to reach the Regional Director, SSC (Northern Region), New Delhi.
  • 9. Ensure the physical copy reaches the SSC office by July 3, 2026 (July 10 for remote areas) to complete the structural submission cycle.
